About Coakleys and These Conditions of Sale
These Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) apply to all purchases of Coakleys products and services — whether made through our website (www.coakleys.ca), by phone, or by email.
By placing an order, you agree to these Conditions of Sale. Please read them carefully before submitting your order.
If you do not agree, you will not be able to purchase through our online or mail-in channels.
Sales completed in-store at Coakleys (57 York Street, London, Ontario) are also subject to these Terms, except where otherwise stated by Canadian consumer law.
Updates to These Conditions
We may update or modify these Conditions at any time.
The most recent version will always be available on our website and will apply to all new orders from the date of posting.
Any change will not affect existing orders already confirmed before the update.
Purchasing Eligibility
To place an order through our website or by phone, you must:

Provide a valid shipping address within Canada or the United States.
By placing an order, you confirm you are a bona fide retail customer purchasing for personal use, not for resale or commercial distribution.
Product Availability and Quantity
All products and services are subject to availability.
If an item is out of stock or discontinued, we will notify you and offer a refund or alternative.
We reserve the right to limit purchase quantities or refuse any order that appears to be placed for resale or fraudulent purposes.

Browse our website and add desired products or services to your cart. -
Review & Checkout:
Provide shipping, billing, and payment information, and confirm your order details. -
Order Confirmation:
Once your order is submitted, you will receive an Order Confirmation Email summarizing your purchase. This does not mean your order has been accepted. -
Acceptance & Shipment:
Your order becomes binding once we send a Shipping Confirmation Email with tracking information.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including in cases of:

Prices, Taxes, and Shipping
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable sales taxes unless otherwise stated.
Shipping charges are calculated during checkout and displayed before order confirmation.
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate. In the rare event of an error, we will notify you before processing your payment.
Payment
We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and e-transfer (Canada only).
Payment must be received in full before order shipment or repair processing.
If payment authorization fails, your order may be cancelled without notice.
All payment transactions are processed securely through trusted third-party payment processors.
Order Confirmation and Invoice
Once your order is accepted and processed, you will receive:

A Shipping Confirmation Email with tracking details.

A digital invoice or receipt (sent to your email).
Please review these documents carefully and contact us immediately if you notice any discrepancies.
Shipping and Delivery
We currently ship across Canada and the United States.
Estimated delivery times (after dispatch):

USA: 7–15 business days
Shipping times may vary due to carrier delays, holidays, or weather conditions.
We do not guarantee specific delivery dates.
Once your order has shipped, Coakleys is not responsible for delays or lost packages caused by the shipping carrier.
Mail-In Repair Orders
Customers sending repairs by mail are responsible for shipping their items safely to:

We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method.
Once your repair is complete, we will notify you and ship the item back using your preferred delivery option.
Personalized and Custom Work
All personalized or custom repair work (including custom dyeing, embossing, or modifications) is final sale and non-refundable.
Please double-check spelling, colors, and specifications before confirming your order.
Returns and Exchanges
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase.

In summary:

Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.

Returned products must be unused and in original condition.

Custom or personalized items are not eligible for return.

Processing fees apply to returns as outlined in our Return Policy.
Once received and approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10–14 business days.
Repairs and Warranty
We stand behind our craftsmanship.
All repair services are completed with professional materials and workmanship.
If you experience an issue with your repair within 30 days of completion, contact us and we will assess it promptly.
Normal wear and tear or misuse is not covered under warranty.
Promotions and Discount Codes
From time to time, Coakleys may offer promotional discounts or coupon codes.
Unless otherwise specified:

Only one discount code may be used per order.

Discounts cannot be applied to past orders, gift cards, or shipping fees.

Promotional offers are valid for a limited time and may be withdrawn without notice.
Abuse or misuse of discount codes may result in cancellation of your order.
Product Descriptions
We make every effort to display product details accurately, including colors, finishes, and materials.
However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings or manufacturing differences.
Coakleys is not responsible for minor discrepancies.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Coakleys is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our products or services.

Our total liability for any claim related to your order will not exceed the purchase price of the item in question.
This limitation does not affect your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in Canada or the United States.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or shipping disruptions.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Conditions of Sale are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
Any disputes shall be brought exclusively before the courts of London, Ontario.
Entire Agreement
These Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Return Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Coakleys concerning your purchase and supersede all prior understandings or communications.
